This year Perfect Spiral is going to do their best to bring you all the important nuggets to get an edge on your fantasy matchups! After an interesting first week, here are four fantasy options that you may want to get a head start on before Week 2 begins:
LA Chargers - DST: Rostered in 8% of Leagues
The Chargers feasted on a way better team than the one they are playing this Sunday in the Raiders, giving up less than 300 yards of offense and 10 points total. I can see this being the defensive performance of the year against what could be the worst team in the league, the Carolina Panthers.
Isaiah Likely - TE (BAL): Rostered in 31 % of Leagues
This was no accident. To some this may have come as a surprise, but his performance against the Chiefs was almost a year in the making. Likely was doing this at the end of last year in the absence of Mark Andrews. To finish off 2023, he had 5 TDs in 5 games while averaging around 17 ypc. Now he’s doing similar things with Andrews in the fold. A changing of the guard may be taking place.
Wandale Robinson - WR (NYG): Rostered in 19% of Leagues
Malik Nabers was all the buzz going into this game, but it was Robinson who lead the charge with a commanding 28% Target share. Even though the Giants are absolutley atrocious, Robinson will be someone who Jones will look at week in and week out. He’s worst a roster spot just on volume alone.
JK Dobbins - RB (LAC): Rostered in 58% of Leagues
We didn’t find out until Sunday who was going to be the lead back in LA. Dobbins outpaced Edwards by nearly 14% in snap percentage and was way more efficient on the ground finishing as RB4 last week. Could it have been a product of game script? Absolutely. But even with his injury history, Dobbins is at least worth an add for RB needy teams.
